supports one client device. The MB6800 will initiate the PCMCIA card after

PPPoE.

Bridged with Serial: When this type selected, the MB6800 acts as a modem

between the cellular network and the serial port. You can attach a DTE device

such as Cisco router or PC with the serial cable, and then initiate a PPP

procedure on the client device.

Keepalive: This can detect whether the WWAN connection is in good status. When

the WWAN connection is abnormal, keep-alive module will detect it if keep-alive is

enabled and the router will try to reconnect automatically. When the system is still

abnormal, modem will be restarted. After modem is consecutively restarted for

several (configurable) times and the system still could not turn well, the router will

be rebooted automatically. Check the box to enable the Keep-Alive feature. If the

Keep-Alive is enabled, MB6800 will detect the Internet connection health periodically

with the interval specified. Once it detects the Internet connection goes down, it will

try to connect again. It will try to re-connect several times (3 times by default). If all of

the attempts fail, MB6800 will reset the 3G data card modem. If still no help, MB6800

will reboot itself after several attempts (3 times by default) fail.
