D.3.2 Service menu start level

The service functions of the service menu are requested
by direct access from the start level or from level 1. Ser-
vice functions support the working process during machine
production.

Functions on the start level
The function keys on the start level are assigned to the
symbols below them. These symbols cannot be changed;
they are always visible.

F2 Insertion distance length,

F3 Change photocell correction for end of seam, seam

length and fixed seam end point

F4 Remove sewing pieces at stacker
F5 Move sliding table

Insertion distance length, photocell correction for
beginning of seam:

The settings made in this menu refer to the selected needle
and are in close relation to the settings made using the
function key F3 for the end of the seam. Enter value:

The cursor automatically marks the variable value.
To change this value gradually:

0 or / key.

Enter a completely new numeric value:

Enter numbers using numeric keypad.

Confirm input and exit menu:

NOTE - Checking settings!

The settings must be checked using a sewing piece; if re-
quired, they must be corrected.

Seam 1: The beginning and the end of the seam are de-
termined by the scan points of the photocell.
The setting refers to a correction of the photocell for the
beginning of the seam. The higher the input value, the later
the beginning of the sewing process.
Seam 2: The beginning of the seam is determined by the
scan point of the photocell, the end of the seam is deter-
mined by a fixed seam length.
The setting refers to a correction of the photocell for the
beginning of the seam. The higher the input value, the later
the beginning of the sewing process.
Seam 3: The beginning of the seam is determined by a
fixed insertion distance, the end of the seam is determi-
ned by the scan point of the photocell.
The setting refers to a correction of the insertion distance
length for the beginning of the seam. The higher the in-
put value, the longer the insertion distance.
The insertion distance is the distance which the main clamp
travels toward the sewing head before the sewing head
begins sewing.
Seam 4: The beginning of the seam is determined by a
fixed insertion distance, the end of the seam is determi-
ned by a fixed seam length.
The setting refers to a correction of the insertion distance
length for the beginning of the seam. The higher the in-
put value, the longer the insertion distance (see above).
Seam 5: The beginning and the end of the seam are de-
termined by the scan points of the photocell, the automatic
label feed is an integral part of the machine operation.
The setting refers to a correction of the photocell for the
beginning of the seam. The higher the input value, the later
the beginning of the sewing process.
Naht 6: At this manual seam the beginning and the end
of the seam are determined by the scan points of the
photocell. Folder and sliding table are out of function.
