2.1.2.1 Power/Drive Board
The power/drive board’s main functions are to provide antenna motor control and distribute power to the
rest of the RC4000 boardset.
The board may be externally supplied with 24VDC input or convert AC input via optional (300 or 600 W)
power supply modules.
The characteristics of the motor drive (voltage, current limit, IR compensation, etc.) may be programmed
for each axis via software configuration items.
The following diagram shows the dimensions of the heat sink (typically aluminum) that must be placed
between the power supply and the mounting surface to transfer heat to the enclosure.
