Inserting SlMMs
Make sure the computer is turned off and the cover is off. Then
follow these steps to install SIMMs:
1. Refer to the illustration under “Locating the Internal
Components” to locate the SIMM sockets in the corner of
the main system board.
2. Remove any option cards that may be blocking your access
to the SIMM sockets. (See “Removing an Option Card” for
instructions.)
3. Position the SIMM at an angle over the empty socket, with
the SIMM components facing the front of the computer.
