When you click the Calculate button, the
reduced size is automatically calculated. The
calculated size is shown under File Size, and
Estimated Total changes to Total. The Calculate
button display changes to light gray and cannot
be used. If you change the setting in the Photo
Reduction Setting

list box, the Calculate button

is turned on again. Click the Calculate button
again to calculate the reduced size of the new
setting.

Note:
If you select
Send ’Reduced Size’ Photos, a
temporary file is created. The size of the temporary file
is changed, and the temporary file is attached to the
e-mail message.

If you are using a Macintosh, select the e-mail
program you want to use from the Select E-mail
Application Script

list box.

Note:
If you are using Windows, use the e-mail program that
is set for your regular use.

When you are satisfied with your settings, click
the Send button, the Save & Send button, or the
Save

button.

Click the Send button to automatically attach the
selected files to an e-mail message. The selected
files are not saved to the computer’s hard disk.

Click the Save and Send button to automatically
save the file or files to the computer’s hard disk so
that you can later attach them to an e-mail
message.

Click the Save button to save the selected files to
the computer’s hard disk. The selected files are
not attached to an e-mail message.

If you click the Send button in the previous step,
an e-mail program opens. Use the program to
send your message with the files attached.

7.

If you clicked the Save or Save and Send button
in step 6 above, specify a folder in which to save
the files, then click OK. The files are saved in the
specified folder for later use according to the
settings you made.
