Page Header

Your name and number are added together with date,
time and page number at the top edge of each fax trans-
mission (= header).

Entering Name

1 Press

C, 021 and OK.

2 Enter your name. You can enter characters using the

numeric keys (see key labels). Enter special charac-
ters using

0. Press the respective key several

times until the desired character or special character
appears on the display.

3 Confirm with

OK.

Entering Number

1 Press

C, 022 and OK.

2 Enter your number.

3 Confirm with

OK.

Selecting the Ring Tone

You can use this function to select the standard ring
tone. You can assign a separate ring tone to entries in
the telephone book (see also chapter on saving an entry,
page 39).

1 Press

2 Select the desired ring tone using

Adjusting Volume Level

Setting the Number of Rings

You can use this function to set the number of rings for
the fax reception mode. After the selected number of
rings, the device switches to fax reception in the fax
mode. Select

0

to switch off the ring tone completely

(see also chapter on silent fax reception , page 59).

switch off the key tones on your device.

Introduction

You can insert normal printing paper or printed docu-
ments (forms) into the paper tray. You can insert spe-
cial paper formats, envelopes, slides, sheets of labels or
printed documents into the manual paper feed.
