able from a specialised retailer or through our order
service (see back side of this user manual). Other con-
sumable materials could damage the device or shorten

cartridges in a place where they will not come into the
hands of children.
Paper Jam
In case of a paper jam, remove the paper carefully out
of the device. Throw the paper away carefully: It is pos-
sible that the toner may not be completely set on the
print-out, and toner dust could be released into the air.

authorised service centre.
Do not remove the type label from your device; this
would void the warranty.

With specific reference to lasers, the equipment com-
plies with laser product performance standards set by
governmental, national, and international agencies as a
Class 1 Laser Product. It does not emit hazardous light,
as the beam is totally enclosed during all phases of cus-
tomer operation and maintenance.
Direct (or indirect reflected ) eye contact with the laser
beam might cause serious eye damage. Safety precau-
tions and interlock mechanisms have been designed to
prevent any possible laser beam exposure to the oper-
ator. Only a qualified service technician should open the
device and carry out service operations.
