Appendix C: Basic call flows
As described in Protocols on page 13 , the RTP Media Portal
component interfaces to the other network components using different
protocols. These protocols are used to establish and manipulate media
paths through the RTP Media Portal. This enables the SIP Application
Module to control the media plane throughout the life of a session.

interface between components in order to handle SIP and media
