11.10.2. Replacing the DVD Drive
1. With the locking slider plate pulled out toward you, slide the drive into the cell.
2. Press the locking slider plate in until it engages.
11.11. Fan Module (CRU)
It is not necessary to power down the system or stop the operating system to replace a
fan module, unless you plan to take more than 2 minutes to perform the procedure.
Use the following procedure to remove and replace a fan module.
11.11.1. Removing the Fan Module
1. Pull the fan module handle forward, and then rotate it down.
2. Slide the fan module out of the cell.
Caution
You must replace the fan module within 2 minutes, or the cell powers off. If
the power to the cell is already off, this does not apply.
