4.2. Menu
System
The menu system is a hierarchy of choices that provide
•
Detailed information about the system as a whole, partitions, and cells, which
reflects the basic structure of the management firmware control and reporting
functions
•
Commands to configure and control partitions and cells
Press the OK button to enter the menu system.
4.2.1. Menu Structure
Each menu (refer to
Figure 4-4
) has a title, one or more options, and indicators, as
shown in the following table:
Indicator Description
A right arrowhead on the left of an option designates the current
selection.
A right angle bracket following an option indicates that a submenu
exists for that option.
No right angle bracket
An option that is not followed by a right angle bracket is a command,
such as view, set, clear, and return.
and
Up and down arrows in the right corners indicate that more options
are available in that direction.
Return
A Return command moves back to the previous display, similar to a
browser Back button.
View
A View command (refer to
Figure 4-5
) causes information about the
selection to appear on the EXPRESSSCOPE® Monitor LCD.
Press the OK button to return to the menu after viewing the
information.
