4. Replace the failed drive with a new drive.

11.12.2. Removing a Hard Drive

1. Use RAID Viewer stop disk activity. It is not necessary to power down the partition.

2. Press the gray hard drive carrier release button on the right side of the hard drive.

3. Pull the hard drive carrier out of the hard drive tray using the lever.

11.12.3. Replacing a Hard Drive

1. With the lever pulled out, push the carrier into the hard drive tray.

2. Secure the hard drive by pressing in the lever.

3. Use RAID Viewer to reintroduce the disk drive.

4. If necessary, reestablish the RAID.
