2. Press the Yes key. The settings for

switch 0 are now shown in the display.
The setting that you need to change is
that for digit 6.

6 using the ten keypad.

4. Finish: Press the Yes key, then press

the Function key.

REDIALING

If a message was not transmitted successfully, that does not mean that you have
to enter the telephone number again. In many cases, the machine will redial the
destination automatically.

Automatic Redialing

The machine will automatically redial the other party if any of the following
conditions occurred.

The other party’s line was busy.

There was no reply from the other party.

The message was rejected by the machine at the other end because of ex-
cessive errors (in this case, redialing will only take place if Memory Trans-
mission was used).

Redialing is done 4 times at 5 minute intervals (for Memory Transmission) or 2
twices at 5 minute intervals (for Immediate Transmission). The number of redials
and the redial intervals may be adjusted by a service technician.

During redialing, the number being
dialed is displayed as shown on
the right.

If redialing fails for an Immediate
Transmission, the display shown
opposite. You can convert this com-
munication to a Memory Transmis-
sion to free up the machine for
other users. Press the Line Select
key then press the Yes key.
