Parameter Description
Active Use the space bar to turn on or off syslog.
Syslog IP Address Enter the IP Address of your syslog server.
Log Facility Use the space bar to toggle between the 7 different Local options. The log
facility allows you to log the message in different files in the server. Please refer
to your UNIX manual for more detail.
12.4 Diagnostic
The diagnostic facility allows you to test the different aspects of your Prestige to determine if it is working
properly. Menu 24.4 allows you to choose among various types of diagnostic tests to evaluate your system,
as shown below.

Follow the procedure below to get to Diagnostic
Step 1. From the Main Menu, select option 24 to open Menu 24 - System Maintenance.
Step 2. From this menu, select option 4. Diagnostic. This will open Menu 24.4 - System Maintenance
- Diagnostic.
