Pre-Operation Inspection

WARNING

Before each use, inspect your water jetter and cor-

rect any problems to reduce the risk of serious in-

jury from high pressure water and other causes and

prevent jetter damage.
Always wear safety glasses, gloves and other appro-

priate protective equipment when inspecting your

jetter to protect against chemicals and bacteria on

the equipment.

1. Make sure that the engine switch/key is in the OFF

position.

2. Clean any oil, grease or dirt from the equipment, in-

cluding the handles and controls. This aids inspec-

tion and helps prevent the machine or control from

slipping from your grip.

3. Inspect the water jetter and accessories for the fol-

lowing:

• Proper assembly and completeness.

• Broken, worn, missing, mis-aligned, binding or loose

parts.

• Presence and readability of the warning labels.

(See Figure 6.)

• Any other condition which may prevent the safe

and normal operation.

If any problems are found, do not use the water jetter

until the problems are corrected.
