Base Address, IRQ [2F8h,3]

The Base Address, IRQ option cannot be configured and only shows the interrupt address of the serial port
listed above.

Serial Port Mode [115200 8,n,1]

Use the Serial Port Mode option to select baud rate through which the console redirection is made. The
following configuration options are available

115200 8,n,1 DEFAULT
57600 8,n,1
38400 8,n,1
19200 8,n,1
09600 8,n,1

NOTE:
Identical baud rate setting musts be set on the host (a management computer running a terminal software)
and the slave

Flow Control [None]

Use the Flow Control option to report the flow control method for the console redirection application.

None DEFAULT

No control flow,

Hardware

Hardware is set as the console redirection

Software

Software is set as the console redirection

Redirection After BIOS POST [Always]

Use the Redirection After BIOS POST option to specify when console redirection should occur.

Disabled

The console is not redirected after POST

Boot Loader

Redirection is active during POST and during Boot Loader

Always DEFAULT

Redirection is always active (Some OSes may not work if set to Always)

Terminal Type [ANSI]

Use the Terminal Type BIOS option to specify the remote terminal type.

ANSI DEFAULT

The target terminal type is ANSI

VT100

The target terminal type is VT100

VT-UTF8

The target terminal type is VT-UTF8

VT-UTF8 Combo Key Support [Disabled]

Use the VT-UFT8 Combo Key Support option to enable additional keys that are not provided by VT100 for
the PC 101 keyboard. The VT100 Terminal Definition is the standard convention used to configure and
conduct emergency management tasks with UNIX-based servers. VT100 does not support all keys
