The primary purpose of this dialog box is to tell the meter where it can get process temperature

information. The meter must know the process temperature in order to temperature compen-

sate the flow measurements. The meter also needs to know the process temperature in order

to make standard flow measurements. The units that may be selected are:

• degF (Degrees Fahrenheit)

• degC (Degrees Centigrade)

• degR (Degrees Rankine)

• Kelvin (Degrees Kelvin)

The data displayed by this window is read from the meter when the window is opened and

when the user clicks the Read or Write buttons.

process Temperature source - There are three different sources that can be selected for the

Process Temperature:

• An integrated RTD

• A user defined temperature value

• A steam table

NOTE: The integrated RTD selection is not available on “non-compensating” models.
