Output Current and Percent of Range - This selection causes the analog output current and

the percent of range values to be output during burst mode. Command number 2 of the Racine

HART Message Specification defines the format of this message.

output Current and four Dynamic variables - This selection causes the analog output

current, the primary variable (PV), the vortex shedding frequency, the process temperature,

and the process pressure to be output during burst mode. Command number 3 of the Racine

HART Message Specification defines the format of this message.

NOTE: Burst mode slows HART communication and will cause the Racine HART Interface to take longer to

read and write to the meter. Turn burst mode off when it is not being used.

NOTE: Save the changes to EEPROM and put the meter in-service after making changes

standard flow

The base process conditions for the standard flow calculations can be configured from the

The “Base Temperature” and “Base Pressure” values used to calculate the standard (or nor-

malized) flow, can be read and modified in this dialog box.

NOTE: Save the changes to EEPROM and put the meter in-service after making changes.

password protection

The password protection feature prevents unauthorized users from editing the meter’s settings.

Users are prohibited from putting the meter in “Edit Mode” without entering a correct password

when “Password Protection” is enabled.

Password protection is enabled and disabled using the “Password Protection” dialog box. To

bring up this box, click the “Configure Meter” pull-down menu on the Main screen and then se-
