For shedding frequencies below the selected cut-off, the output value will be set to 0 flow. This

feature is helpful at low flows where noise in the environment can cause the flow to appear er-

ratic.

NOTE: Save the changes to EEPROM and put the meter in-service after making changes.

K-factor

The K-Factor can be read and set from the “K-Factor” dialog box. To bring up this box, click the

“Configure Meter” pull-down menu on the Main screen and then select “K-Factor”.

The K-Factor is read from the meter and displayed when the dialog box is opened. To change

the K-Factor, enter the desired value and click Write.

The K-Factor is a constant used to scale the Velocity, Volumetric, Mass, and Standard flow

measurements. The K-Factor is set to 1.0 when the unit is calibrated at the factory. If the K-

Factor is set to 0.5 then the Velocity, Volumetric, Mass, and Standard flow measurements will

be half their actual value. If the K-Factor is set to 2 then the velocity, volumetric, mass and

standard flow measurements will be twice their actual value. The valid range of the K-Factor is

0.5 to 2.

Process temperature, process pressure, and vortex frequency measurements are not affected

by the K-Factor.

NOTE: Save the changes to EEPROM and put the meter in-service after making changes.

Totalizer Settings

The totalizer settings can be read and set from the “Totalizer Settings” dialog box. To bring up

this box, click the “Configure Meter” pull-down menu on the Main screen and then select “Total-

izer Settings”.

This Totalizer Settings window is only provided in the Racine HART Interface version 1.0.11

and higher. The embedded software in the meter must be version 18 or higher to support the

totalizer function.

The totalizer settings are read from the meter and displayed when the dialog box is opened. To

change the totalizer settings, enter the desired values and click Write.
