4 Using the XP Continuous Access GUI
This chapter describes the XP Continuous Access windows on Remote Web Console.
XP Continuous Access Windows
The XP Continuous Access windows (see Figure 20 (page 63) ) display the XP Continuous Access
information for the connected storage system and provide access to all XP Continuous Access
functions and operations.
The Quorum Disk Operation window is used with XP External Storage Access Manager Software.
If you use XP External Storage Access Manager Software with XP Continuous Access, information
on the XP External Storage Access Manager Software pair is also displayed on the XP Continuous
Access windows. For details about XP External Storage Access Manager Software see the HP
StorageWorks XP24000/XP20000 XP External Storage Access Manager Software User Guide.
To open the XP Continuous Access windows:
1. Using the Remote Web Console software, connect to and log on to the desired storage system
with Administrator access or XP Continuous Access write access.
2. On the Remote Web Console main window, select modify mode to perform XP Continuous
Access operations. Users in view mode can only view XP Continuous Access information.
3. Click Go, XP Continuous Access, and then click a window name on the menu bar of the Remote
Web Console main window.
XP Continuous Access software starts and the window that you chose is displayed.

The storage partition administrator cannot perform the XP Continuous Access operations.
