Stopping during a cycle

Use either an external button T−22−... and a front panel valve SV−3−M5 (chapter 11)
or a command module, e.g. the Festo Commander FSSC−12, to stop after a cycle.

S

In manual mode, use a button T−22−... and a front panel valve with normally−
open function. Actuating the button keeps the output loaded with compressed
air.

S

In automatic mode, stop the cycle by loading the input STOP

IN

on the Festo

Commander FSSC−12 and acutating the Stop button. Stop keeps the respective
output loaded with compressed air.

Emergency stop

Use an external pause button PR(S)−... and a front panel valve SV−3−M5 (chapter 11)
for an emergency stop setup. This also applies to automatic mode with a command
module, e.g. the Festo Commander FSSC−12.

S

In manual mode, cause an emergency stop to be applied by connecting the
output you want via an external pause button and a front panel valve with an
normally−closed function. Actuating an emergency stop switches off the air on
the output.

S

In automatic mode, bring about an emergency stop by loading the input
EMERGENCY STOP (NOT AUS) on the Festo Commander FSSC−12 and acutating
the external Pause button. Actuating an emergency stop switches off the
air on the output.

Warning
Observe the regulations in EN 418, i.e. ISO 13850.

Buttons, switches and the relevant front panel valves can be found in chapter 11.
