Recalibrating your display

Whenever you change white point, ambient light, or gamma value, the
changes don’t take effect until you recalibrate your display. Also, when you
make adjustments such as brightness, contrast, and screen geometry, it’s a
good idea to recalibrate to get maximum color accuracy.

To recalibrate your display:

1

Open the AppleVision Setup control panel and click the Color button.

The Color window appears.

2

Make sure the settings in the Color window are correct.

3

Click Recalibrate.

After several seconds, your display is recalibrated based on the settings shown
in the Color window.

4

Close the AppleVision Setup control panel.

Recalibrating automatically

You can set preferences in the AppleVision Setup control panel so your
display is recalibrated automatically every 2 weeks or when you change
brightness, contrast, screen geometry, or screen resolution.

To set recalibration preferences:

1

Open the AppleVision Setup control panel and click the Color button.

The Color window appears.
