When you play the video, if the sound is harsh or garbled, adjust the gain and try
recording again.
If the sound too loud, clipped, or has too much noise, try a lower gain setting.
If the sound is too quiet, try a higher gain setting.
Playing an audio CD on AppleVision 1710

You can connect an audio CD player to the AppleVision 1710
AV
display and
play the sound on the AppleVision 1710
AV
speakers.
To play an audio CD:

Turn off the audio CD player and connect it to the sound input port (marked by
≈
) on the
left side of the display.

Display” in Chapter 1.

Close the Sound control panel.

Open the AppleVision Setup control panel and click the Sound button.
The Sound window in the AppleVision Setup control panel appears.
