The serial converter module uses three status indicators to report its
operating status (
Figure 1.5 ). The following table describes the state of
the status indicators under normal operation:
If the diamond status indicator is red, there is a problem. Refer to
Chapter 5 , Troubleshooting .

implementing DSI.
Solid Green Serial converter is or was receiving control
I/O. Removing or resetting the serial
converter may cause a serial fault in the
product.
Off No power or Flash operation in progress.
