Field Device Output Image Each field device displays its PA diagnostics and all available PVs and their status
as shown in
Figure 11 .

If you are using a field device that requires an output, the data must be updated in
the output image of that field device. If a real value must be sent, use the copy
function to update the PVInt.
PVStatus1…PVStatus8
If you set a process variable to be a 1-byte to 4-byte format, the data is displayed in
this image.

to update data for output modules.
IMPORTANT Some field devices (such as valve positioners) operate correctly only after a
