Remove or Replace a Chassis
Adapter Use this information to remove or replace a redundant power supply.
Remove a Chassis Adapter
Follow these steps to remove a chassis adapter.
1. Turn the redundant power supplies OFF.
2. Disconnect the 1756-CPR2 cable.
3. Push the top and bottom locking tabs on the chassis adapter to the side and
pull the module off the chassis.
Replace a Chassis Adapter
Align the adapter’s circuit board with the card guides on the left side of the
chassis and slide the adapter back until it is flush with the front of the chassis.
