When you have completed the selection process, the interface assigns the tag to
the trace, as shown below. To remove a tag from the highlighted trace, press
[Backspace].

Setting the Trigger
After assigning a tag to Trace 1, configure the trigger value by defining the
following:
• trigger type (press [F9])
• trigger condition (press [F2])
• trigger value (press [F3])
There are two types of triggers:
• single trigger: occurs once and stops; you must manually re-arm. (Default)
• continuous trigger: re-arms itself, continues to collect new trends until
viewing collected data stops it.
The interface indicates the current type of trigger as 'S' or 'C', prefixed to the
Trigger label (see
). To toggle types, press [F9].
Set the trigger condition and trigger value using [F2] and [F3] respectively.
Highlight any field to edit.
Set the condition to one of following options using

to scroll through the
list. Press [Enter] to accept the selected option.
