Mounting and Grounding Diagram
Mount the REC next to a 1394 GMC system or an S Class Compact
motion controller on a metal enclosure panel using two 1/4 -20 or M6
bolts. Refer to the Mechanical Specifications in the Overview chapter
of this manual for mounting dimensions. Figures 2.2 and 2.3 in this
chapter show where to mount the REC.

Scrape paint off panel to insure
electrical connection between
chassis and grounded metal plate.

ATTENTION: To avoid a shock hazard, remove all
power to the system panel before mounting the REC.
ATTENTION: The 1394 contains stored energy
devices. To avoid the hazard of electrical shock, verify
that all voltages are zero (0.00) before proceeding.
