TROUBLESHOOTING

SYSTEM INSTALLATION AND SETUP

1.

In the DuoFlow Manual screen, click on the
detector faceplate toggle button to switch between
QuadTec and optics module faceplates.

2.

Ensure that the power cable from the ICM to the
back of the DuoFlow Workstation DC outlet is
connected.

3.

Ensure that both the Workstation and QuadTec
Detector are switched on and that System Cable
25 (RS232), System Cable 26 (QuadTec Power)
and System Cable 17 (BioLogic Communication)
are correctly connected.

If these steps do not resolve the problem:
1.

Exit the BioLogic software application to the
Windows desktop;

2.

Turn the Workstation power off and then on.
Repeat for the QuadTec;

3.

Allow a few minutes for the QuadTec to initialize,
self-test and calibrate. The bottom left corner of the
detector screen must show ON before the
DuoFlow software is launched.

4.

Launch the BioLogic DuoFlow software application.

Replace deuterium lamp.

1.

Ensure that the Set button is clicked.

2.

Click on the Manual screen Settings icon to
choose which traces are visible.

3.

Zero the baseline.

The Manual screen and Setup Editor are not
linked. You must select the desired wavelengths for
each Method.
