Fatal Error caused

system to reboot.

Check the SEL for
information that was logged
during the error. See the
applicable troubleshooting
section in "Troubleshooting

any faulty components
specified in the SEL.

Gate A20 failure

Faulty keyboard
controller; faulty system
board.

General failure

The operating system is
unable to carry out the
command.

This message is usually
followed by specific
information. Note the
information, and take the
appropriate action to resolve
the problem.

Keyboard Controller

Faulty keyboard
controller; faulty system

Keyboard stuck key

failure

Keyboard cable connector
is loose or improperly
connected, defective
keyboard, or defective
keyboard/mouse controller

Check the keyboard
connection to the system. If
the problem persists, try

Keyboard fuse has

Overcurrent has been
detected at the keyboard
connector.
