To make the scene gradually appear from a blank
white screen:

1. Make sure the camera is in record

pause mode.

2. Press and hoid the FADE button until

the scene disappears completely from
the viewfinder.

3. Press the start/stop button to begin

recording.

4. Release the FADE button.

• The scene gradually reappears in the

viewfinder.

F.STAPT

/STOP

The wireless controller’s F. START/STOP button
combines the functions of the FADE button and the

START/STOP button.
You can begin and end recording with automatic,

remote-controlled fades:

1. Make sure the camera is in record

pause mode.

2. Press the F. START/STOP button to

begin recording.

• The picture disappears, recording starts and

then the picture fades in.

3. Press the F. START/STOP button again

to end recording.
• The scene fades out and the camera returns

to record pause mode.

To make the scene gradually disappear:

1. Press and hold the FADE button during

recording.

2. When the scene has completely

disappeared, press the start/stop button
to end recording.

3. Release the FADE button.

Notes:

• The sound fades together with the image.
• Titles, age, date and time do not fade.
