4. STITCH SELECTION DIAL

There are two main categories of stitches:
• Utility stitches (buttonholes included) and decorative stitches

that are sewn continuously

• Stitches that are sewn in single repetitions and can be

programmed into longer sequences

Turn the dial to browse the stitches one by one.

Press the center of the dial to step 10 stitches at a time.

When the “ABC” Program Mode button has been pressed

(see Section 3 above), turn the Stitch Selection Dial to browse

through the letters and other programmable stitches. The

selected stitch will sew in one repetition only. Press the center

of the dial to program the selected stitch into the sequence.

PROGRAM DIAL

Setting Stitch Width and Stitch Length

The stitch width and stitch length are displayed on the LCD

screen. Width and length are automatically set to the default

settings when the machine is turned on. Default settings are

underlined on the LCD screen.
Press the center of the dial to toggle between stitch width and

stitch length settings. A LED light is let next to the selected

setting. Turn the dial to adjust the selected setting. The

numbers change on the display as you turn the dial, and the

underlining is removed, indicating that the new setting is not

the default.

The settings selected for each stitch are saved until the

machine is turned off.

Scroll, Program and Delete Programmed Stitches

When the “ABC” Program Mode button has been pressed

(see Section 3 above), turn the lower dial to scroll through

the programmed letters and/or stitches. The LCD screen will

display your stitch sequence as it will be stitched out.
Press the center of the dial to delete the last stitch in the

program. Press the center of the dial repeatedly, or keep the

center of the dial pressed, to continue deleting letters and/or

programmed stitches one at a time.

Note: When an arrow on either side of the stitch width

or stitch length value number disappears, the machine

is set at maximum or minimum stitch width or length

available for that particular stitch.

Example: To select stitch number 52, press the

center of the dial 5 times, then turn the dial two steps

clockwise.
