Fade In and Fade Out

The fade function allows you to gradually bring
the Image and sound In or out at the beginning

or end of a scene for creating scene transi­

tions. This is especially effective for indicating a

dramatic change in scenery.

Setting Fade Mode

Set the camcorder to TAPE-CAMERA
mode.

Press the MENU/DISPLAY button until

the menu screen appears.

Select a, then press ►► on the

Operation button. Select “FADE” (®),

then press ►► (®).

Press the REG START/STOP button to

begin recording.

• The picture turns white, and the image

and sound fade in.
