Transmitting

Cancel a delayed transmission

The machine allows you to cancel a delayed transmission. You
must know the job number of the transmission. Print a Memory
List to identify the job number. Use the following procedure to
cancel a delayed transmission:

1.

Press the CLEAR key. The LCD displays the first

transaction type.

2.

Press the REDIAL/1 key to page through the transaction

types.

3.

Press the START key. The LCD prompts you to enter the

job number.

4.

Enter the three-digit job number. The LCD prompts you to

verify the number you entered.

5.

Press the START key.

Security Features

The machine has several security features for transmitting.
These features include the following:

Secure transmission — Transmit to a 7041/7042 remote

machine with the same password, or identification code,
as on your machine.

Mailbox communication — Transmits documents on a
confidential basis to a mailbox at a remote machine. Only
a user with the mailbox number can access the
document. The mailbox can be used for a single

transmission or for all transmissions.

Security access mode — Allows you to control the use of
the machine. Only users with the correct access code
can transmit from the machine.
