Reading Results
VDSL Bands
The VDSL Bands tab allows you to view the VDSL parameters negotiated
by the unit and central office, configured in the connection setup.
The available test results are the
following:

SNR Margin is the measured
current signal-to-noise ratio (SNR)
margin across all active
sub-channels, as an amount of
increased noise relative to the
measured noise power that the
system would be able to tolerate
to maintain a bit error rate of 10-7.

LoopAttn is the current reduction of the line.
³
SignalAttn is the current reduction of the signal.
³
Tx Power is the upstream/downstream transmitting power for the
selected band.
³
DS0-4 button displays the downstream parameters for different VDSL
bands 0 to 4.
³
US0-4 button displays the upstream parameters for different VDSL
bands 0 to 4.
