Recording using legacy instructor applications 6.5
The scenario recording is started and stopped from one of the Instructor Application like SimMan or
SimMan3G etc. The cameras connected to the server will provide video footage to cover the scenario
together with the input from the Patient Monitor and the Instructor Application.
The maximum recording length in SimView is 4 hours, but the Instructor Applications may have other
restrictions on the maximum recording length, the shortest will apply.
Note! See chapter 6.8 for recording using legacy instructor applications.
Note! The Patient Monitor is counted as a video feed, and is included in the maximum of 4 video feeds that
can be used for recording.
Recording using LLEAP 6.6
Using SimView together with LLEAP requires no special setup on the instructor PC’s.
Note! SimView must be version 5.0.x or newer.
First make sure that the server is up and running, then start LLEAP on the instructor PC.

In LLEAP start the “LLEAP Instructor Application”, select the SimView Server you will use as the “Debriefing
System” and proceed with the session. See more in chapter 4.5 LLEAP integration.
When the session is stopped you can select to go to debriefing. You will now have to log in to the server in
the browser window that starts on the instructor PC. After login you get the debriefing window, see more
about debriefing in chapter 6.10.
