Symptom

Solution

Calls are not going to my voice mailbox

There are several programming parameters that

could cause this, but the most common is that

your telephone is no longer programmed to

forward to voicemail. To verify that your

telephone is programmed to voicemail, log into

your device using a windows browser and click on

the Phone page, and locate the Call Forwarding

Settings and verify that the “No Answer Forward”

is set to “vm”.

When I dial my telephone number I get a busy

This is most commonly caused because either the

Enable Direct Inward Dial (DID) is set to off, or

the DID number is not entered or entered

correctly.

There is an “X” in the little on the right side of the

display.

This means that the telephone lines are not

authenticated correctly. Double check the SIP

trunk parameters provided to you are entered to

correctly, especially the password.

Cannot hear the calling party but they can hear us

This is commonly caused by a programming

parameter (SIP ALG) in your ISP’s Router.

Check your router’s administration manual to

determine how to disable this parameter. Some

routers provide a GUI interface, others requires a

Command Line Entry to disable this parameter.
