are entered into the repeater path boxes with the first repeater in the most left-hand box… and
so on for multiple repeaters.

For example, if you want to set up a link to remote unit 13 via units 31, 32, 33 (in this order)
then you would select:

If you want to use repeaters in broadcast transmissions, refer to the section on Broadcast
Repeaters.

If configuring with AT commands:

 The destination address for the RS485 port is in auto dial location 3 (AT&Z3).

3.5.2 RS-232

Port

The RS232 port can be configured for “auto connect” or “single connect”.

Auto connect means that the 455U-D will start up online. This will be indicated by the LINK
LED going green.

Single connect means that the unit will start up in command mode, and will not go online
until it receives the correct AT command.

In Unacknowledged mode, the normal setting is auto connect. If single connect is selected,
then the destination address is normally controlled by the host device using AT commands.

Note that the auto connect or single connect setting has no effect on the RS485 port
- it is always auto connect.

You can enter the destination address for the RS232 port in the same way as described above
for the RS485 port.
