2. To launch the Add Device Wizard, click Add a Device.

4. Click Close.

Installing a WSD Printer Manually Using the Add Printer Wizard

1. At your computer, click Start, then select Devices and Printers.
2. To launch the Add Printer Wizard, click Add a Printer.
3. Click Add a network, wireless, or Bluetooth printer.
4. In the list of available devices, select the one you want to use, then click Next.
5. If the printer that you want does not appear in the list, click The printer that I want

is not listed.

6. Select Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname, then click Next.
7. For the Device type field, select Web Services Device.
8. In the Hostname or IP address field, enter the printer IP address. Click Next.
9. Select an option for sharing the printer with others in your network.

10. To identify the printer for sharing, enter a share name, location, and comments to

identify the printer. Click Next.

11. To set the printer as the default, select an option. To test the connection, click Print

a Test Page.

12. Click Finish.

AirPrint, Mopria, Google Cloud Print, and
NFC

The following allow you to print without requiring a print driver:

AirPrint

Use AirPrint to print from a wired or wireless device directly without using a print driver.
AirPrint is a software feature that allows you to print from wired or wireless Apple
iOS-based mobile devices and Mac OS-based devices without the need to install a print
driver. AirPrint-enabled printers allow you to print or fax directly from a Mac, an iPhone,
iPad, or iPod touch.

Mopria

Mopria is a software feature that enables users to print from mobile devices without
requiring a print driver. You can use Mopria to print from your mobile device to
Mopria-enabled printers.
