IP address of the router that has been elected backup desig­

Number of times the interface state has changed.

If you use

show ip ospf interface vlan < vlan-id >, the output will be the same as

shown in the previous table, but for the IP address on the indicated VLAN.

Displaying OSPF Packet Statistics for a Subnet or VLAN

To display the statistics on OSPF packets sent and received on the interfaces
in VLANs and/or subnets on an OSPF-enabled routing switch, including the
number of errors that occurred during packet transmission, enter the
show ip ospf statistics [ vlan < vlan-id > | ip-addr > ] command at any CLI level.

Syntax: show ip ospf statistics [ vlan < vlan-id > | < ip-address > ]

The

show ip ospf statistics command displays the following information for

OSPF-enabled VLANs and/or subnets.

The VLAN ID displays OSPF packet statistics for all subnets configured
on the VLAN.

The IP address displays OSPF packet statistics only for a specified VLAN
subnet.

Syntax: clear ip ospf statistics
