Remove the Ethernet cable from the printer.

Switching from a wireless connection to a USB connection

Insert one end of the USB cable into the USB port of the printer.

Insert the other end of the USB cable into the USB port on the computer.

On your computer, do one of the following:

In Windows Vista:

Click

ΠControl Panel.

b

Under Hardware and Sound, click Printer.

In Windows XP:

Click Start ΠPrinters & Faxes.

Note: Make sure that the printer driver is installed in the computer you are using. For more information, see
“Installing the printer on additional network computers” on page 57.

Right-click the Lexmark 9500 Series icon.

Click Properties.

From the Ports tab, select the USB port for your printer.

Click Apply.

Click OK.
