[Configuration for ft Series] dialog box, specify/register configuration information
including the names of computers to be managed, and then write the information to FD as
the following filename:

<Filename>

CSL_LESS.CFG

The setting items of the server are as follows:

Computer Name (The managed server name. Arbitrary)

IP address

Subnet mask

Default gateway

Primary contact (Management PC’s IP address)

Right-clicking the server name to open the pop-up menu, from which select [Property]
command to open [Property] dialog box.

When the [Property] dialog box appears: specify the items as follows:

<[ID] page>

Connection mode:

LAN

<[Alert notification] page>

Uncheck [Use Default Settings] and
check [Reset] of [Activate].

Right-clicking the server name to
open the pop-up menu and select
[Open Remote Console] to open
[MWA Remote Console].

10.

Select the [Action at Remote Console
Connect] command from the popup
menu displayed by right-clicking the server window to display the [Action at Remote
Console Connect] dialog box. Then select [Go MWA mode].

11.

Insert NEC EXPRESSBUILDER CD-ROM into the drive of the computer to be managed
and insert floppy disk storing the configuration information (CSL_LESS.CFG) into the
FDD drive.

12.

Hook up the management PC to LAN.
