CALIBRATION

This scale has been calibrated prior to shipment. However, the calibration can be influenced by
difference in the earth’s gravitational field between your location and our factory.

WEIGHTS AND MEASURES SEALING

Contact your local Weights and Measures official for certification and sealing of the scale.
Refer to the list of Weights and Measures offices on the following pages.

A copy of NTEP Certificate of Conformance 00-017 is included for your reference.

To check the scale’s calibration, put a 10 pound weight on the center of the platform and read the
displayed weight. The reading should be between 9.99 and 10.01lb. If the reading exceeds these
limits, perform a span calibration as defined in Section 3.3.1 of the Navigator Instruction Manual. A
10 pound weight is required to perform this calibration.

A Class F, 10 pound weight is available from Ohaus. Order part number 77492-10.

* For your convenience and ease of use, set up has been limited to these weighing units and modes.
