The window "Pulse velocity“ can be only
chosen, if in the window "Mounting arrange-
ment“ "Inside pipe“ or "Window in pipe“ was
clicked. Inside a pipe radar waves spread
with another velocity therefore the measure-
ment must be corrected. There are three
possibilities. The first possibility is to input the
correction factor directly.
The second possibility is to input the meas-
ured distance. Input in the appropriate field
the distance in m and click to
Start calcula-
tion. Shortly afterwards the correction factor
appears. With
OK you return to the window
"Meas. environment“.
The third possibility is to input the tube diam-
eter. Input in the appropriate field the diam-
eter in mm and click to
Start calculation.
Shortly afterwards the correction factor ap-
pears. With
OK you return to the window
"Meas. environment“.
