Establishing of a linked measurement loop with VEGAMET 515V
It happens often that an existing meas-
urement loop configuration should be
modified. A new measurement loop
should be created when the application,
the sensor type and the options had
been modified. For other modifications,
e.g. sensor coordination, click to C
on-
figuration, point to Measurement loop
and click to
Modify.
With the buttons in this windows you reach
menus which you already know from creating
the measurement loop. Therefore only a
modification of the sensor coordination is
described. When creating a measurement
loop we assumed that both sensors are
connected to the VEGAMET-inputs. Now a
sensor signal of another VEGAMET should
be used which is connected via the DISBUS
to your VEGAMET 515. Requirement is
that the instrument addresses are ad-
justed on the VEGAMET with the rotating
switch (e.g. VEGAMET 515V address 1,
the other VEGAMET address 5).
Click in the window "Modify meas. loop
configuration“ to
Sensor coordination.
Choose in the window "Selection of meas-
urement loop - Sensor coordination" the
measurement loop, e.g. TAG-No. 1 and
confirm with
OK.
You already know the window "Modify
measurement loop - Sensor configura-
tion“. You see the serial numbers of the
sensors which are coordinated. Click to
Sensor coordination on the input you
want to modify.
