Database

During the installation of VVO the directories
had been installed on your hard drive as
shown. In the directory

Data all data of the

connected instruments are automatically
saved as database. On the ending of the
database names you can recognize the kind
of instrument. The database of the connected
VEGAMET gets the ending

M00, the sensor

databases the ending

S00, the database of a

connected VEGALOG gets the ending

L00.

Example for the name:
If VVO gets in contact with a VEGAMET, a
database with the name

MET00.M00 is cre-

ated. If an additional VEGAMET with the
same DISBUS-address is added, the data
are saved in the same database.

If a VEGAMET with another DISBUS-address
is added, you can choose if the data should
be saved in the same file (

already existing

group) or if a new database should be cre-
ated (

new group). If you create a new data-

base, you can take over the name
MET01.M00 or enter a new designation (max.
8 digits, the ending M00 cannot be modified)
instead of MET01.
