13.3 Communication between PC program and SQL server
The program
cannot access the
server database
Cause Remedy
– Communication problem – Repeat the import process
– Use a shorter USB cable
– USB-Hub or USB connection at
the PC faulty or defective
– Use other USB connection or PC
Cause Remedy
– Power supply interrupted – Connect the logger to the PC
program and set up logging job.
– Make sure that the logger is
supplied with power (battery)
Cause Remedy
– The SQL server is already
installed on the PC with a
different password
– In the Settings / Database menu,
click the User-defined option and
enter the password that was used
for the initial installation of the SQL
server.
– Set Windows authentication.
Note
The connection can be checked with the Test button. A message appears
informing you whether the connection was established.
