Delete a Used Template

To delete templates that do have batches associated to them.

If the template has batches, the Delete button for that entry is
grayed out. In this case, use the Delete Batch button on the left
side of the screen. Therefore, first check the batches, then you
can delete the template. The template ID cell is blue if batches
are associated.

Any batch results associated to this batch are deleted from IS. If
you delete a batch, you can not retrieve the data.

1. Using the Luminex 100 IS software, backup any data you wish

to recover at a later time. Then return to Developer WorkBench.

2. Click Edit Template. An Open Template dialog box appears.

3. Select the template you want to delete (the template ID cell is

blue) and click Delete Batch.

Any batch results associated to this batch will be deleted from
IS. If you delete a batch, you can not retrieve the data.

4. At the Warning prompt, click Yes.

5. Each batch displays a warning prompt, click Yes.

6. The template ID turns white since it has no batches associated

with it. Highlight the template and click Delete.

7. Click Cancel to close the dialog box.

Note:

Batches are permanently

removed and can not be
recovered if they were not
backed up.
