12-2. Symbol input during program editing
Symbols can be input when the cursor is located at Operand 1/Operand 2 (operation 1/2), Pst
(output), or Cnd (input condition) and “Sym” is displayed in the function key section.

Symbol input in the following program step:
The position No. 10 is symbolized by “TAIKIITI.”
Select the F2 (Sym) key in the function key section
when the cursor is located at Operand 1. The
screen moves to the Edit-Sym screen.
Select the item for symbol editing with a function
key. In this case, select the F4 (Posi) key to edit the
position No.
Enter 10 for the position No. with the ten-key
numeric pad and press the return key.
