A_Event Return Field Value Meaning

Each ABANDON, CONNECT, END, ROUTE REQUEST, and ABNORMAL
ROUTE END event returns information pertaining to the event. Table 6-3 indi-
cates what fields the A_Event action returns for each event.

ABANDON

The caller abandoned the call before the agent
answered it.

CONNECT

If CONNECT is sent on alerting message,then
this indicates that the agent specified in the
Connected Number field has been alerted. If
CONNECT is sent on connect message, then
this indicates that the agent specified in the
Connected Number field has answered the
call.

END

The call ended. The caller has been discon-
nected or has hung up after the call was
answered by an agent.

ROUTE
REQUEST

The switch is requesting that the call be routed
by the VIS. The number to be routed is in the
Called Number field. The Routing ID field con-
tains an identifier which must be used in the
corresponding Routing ID field of the
A_RouteSel action.

ABNORMAL
ROUTE END

The switch indicates that the routing was
unsuccessful. Either the Destination Number
or the Split Extension specified in the
A_RouteSel action is invalid or the call was
abandoned before a route selection was made
or vector processing was administered incor-
rectly. Check the Cause Value field for the
specific reason.
