4.3.4 Connecting the Calibration Gas

Warning! Never make a direct connection from the pressure valve

on a gas cylinder. Always use a side-stream connection like the one

shown in

figure 4.12

4.3.5 Span Calibration

Turn ON the Multi Gas Monitor. You need to let the Multi Gas Monitor –

INNOVA 1316A-3 warm up for at least 5 minutes. For optimum span

calibration accuracy, let the Multi Gas Monitor –INNOVA 1316A-3 warm

up for at least 30 minutes.

While the Multi Gas Monitor –INNOVA 1316A-3 is warming up, perform

the following steps:
1) If a New NO Sensor is required see the Status window

figure 4.13

install a new NO sensor Order number VM0201A.
